Yoga for 50+
This is a moderate class designed for mature learners, but you do not have to be over 50 to take this class. Most classes are a combination of qigong (gentle Chinese energy exercises as a pre-warmup), a slow flow of standing postures, and a seated stretching practice. The focus is on flexibility, strength, balance and overall well-being. It is for those interested in exploring yoga as a practice for healthy living now and aging gracefully. This class meets every Thursday evening from 6:15pm – 7:15pm, as well as in the morning on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15am – 10:30am.
