Emily discovered yoga in 2005 while submerged in philosophical and spiritual studies in college. To her, the practice of yoga is transformative and healing on all levels, bringing about peace and joy during the tumultuous ups and downs of life. She is passionate about teaching and is so grateful to share this ancient knowledge with others. She strongly believes the practice of yogic techniques can influence a more positive outcome for the planet and all life. Emily is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher with 200 hours training in Ashtanga/Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga from It’s Yoga Cincinnati, and 100 hours advanced yoga therapy training in the Yoga of the Heart® program with Nischala Joy Devi. She holds a BA in Philosophy and Environmental Studies from Northern Kentucky University and is a mother of two.
