Our six week beginner series is a gradual introduction to the practices of yoga in a comfortable small class setting. 

Learn how to get the most out of your yoga practice. In this class you will learn proper technique and alignment for yoga postures, as well as, powerful breathing techniques to help you experience more clarity and focus.

This class is a six week series that meets on Wednesdays from 7:30pm – 8:45pm.

In addition to the six weeks of classes you receive an unlimited yoga pass so you can get the results you are looking for!

Established in 2000, It’s Yoga was the first Registered Yoga School in the Tri-State Area approved by the national Yoga Alliance to train yoga teachers. As a result, we provide exceptional teachers and an amazing array of yoga styles that appeals to all fitness levels . We are a teacher centric yoga school that is not focused on one style, instructor or famous personality. Our teachers are chosen based on their unique background and experience in yoga. All our teachers and yoga training programs are approved by the Yoga Alliance from RYT 200 – 500.

It’s Yoga-Cincinnati follows the classical system of VINYASA YOGA from the lineage of Sri Krishnamacharya, the most acclaimed yoga teacher of the 20th century. Unlike other yoga systems, the scientific arrangement of postures gradually build in difficulty to allow students to safely access their full potential. Accompanied by dynamic breathing, focus, and energy activation, students bring their full attention within as they flow from one posture to another in a moving meditation. This system immediately builds strength and heat as the joints and muscles systematically open and release tension filling the body with energy. Unlike traditional Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga balances the body with both strength and flexibility leading to a balanced healthy and relaxed lifestyle. The effects of the system can be experienced immediately. If regularly practiced, the body becomes strong and light, will power and self discipline develop, while the mind becomes sharp and clear.

Following are a few things beginners should know about It's Yoga:
  • Wear Comfortable Clothing
  •  You'll be barefoot.
  •  Bring a water bottle and a towel. (Not required, but recommended.)
  •  Make it your own. Don't worry about what the person on the mat next to you is doing.
